Not only is neutral clothing big this season but also nude makeup . The look is very fresh-faced. Let your skin breathe (see Giorgio Armani image below). Being a fan of the neutral color palette I have a couple lipstick/gloss recommendations.

My favorite lip gloss right now is Giorgio Armani’s Lip Shimmer #21 (shown below). It’s a non-sticky formula with a hint of color. I’ve been wearing it off and on for almost a year.

Another favorite of mine is Mac’s Slimshine Lipstick in Bare. It’s more of a gloss than a lipstick but comes packaged in a long lipstick case. The look is a little translucent but glossy. The color is very similar to Armani’s Lip Shimmer #21.

Don’t laugh but American Eagle has some pretty amazing costume jewelry. If you haven’t been there lately you should plan a trip. I promise it will be worth your time.
I don’t wear bracelets very often but that may have to change after seeing these beauties.

American Eagle Braided Rhinestone Bracelet 12.50
American Eagle Rope Braid Bracelet 12.50

This past weekend my fiancé, my mom and I drove to Mount Vernon Washington to meet with our florist (Enchanted Florist) and wedding coordinator from The Grand Willow Inn. It was a beautiful drive but a long day. In the spirit of wedding planning here are a few blogs/wedding resources for anyone who is getting married or has a love for pretty things.
My fiancé’s sister told me about wedding blog Style Me Pretty. Amazing wedding photography is featured along with details of the event. At the end of each post vendors and resources are listed. Even if you’re not getting married there are still good decorating ideas for interior design or throwing an event/party.

I also like wedding blog Kiss The Groom, again featuring amazing photography.

For Bridal accessories I would check out Shop Bando. They have the most unique hair accessories. The prices are high but most of the featured items can be worn even after the wedding. If anything else check it out for style ideas and inspiration. Maybe you can find something similar at a different shop. They also have other headbands and accessories for every day (second image shown).

Last but certainly not least visit The Knot and sign up for a free account. Their wedding checklist has been the most helpful planning tool for all things wedding. The checklist is automated to help you with your planning. It’s like having a wedding planner without the price.
