I graduated from Seattle Pacific University in 2007 with a degree in communications. I live in the Seattle area and work in the fashion industry. I enjoy fashion and love to shop. My style is very girly and feminine. I like classic pieces like silk camisoles or blousey tops, cashmere sweaters or cardigans, paired with jeans. While I love shopping, I don’t like a lot of clothes in my closet – too many options make me feel overwhelmed. Habitually I go through my wardrobe and purge anything I am not wearing. My mom coined the term “the heap” for the clothes that I grow tired of. That’s why my fashion motto is "quality over quantity". I have found shopping this way in the long run will save me money. It’s like a diet. If you allow yourself to indulge in one treat you can save yourself the extra calories, and in my case an unwanted expense for something most likely to end up in “the heap".
