Hilary Duff is on the January cover of Nylon Magazine. Hilary looks great! Inside she discuss her clothing line Femme for DKNY. “I got to bring in textures that I loved and tell them about the shapes that I like. I designed clothing that I feel are staples for my closet. I think that’s really helpful to girls who need to know they can mix high-end with low-end, and you don’t have to buy a complete outfit the way it’s shown in the store. Every girl needs a great leather jacket, and every girl needs a skinny pair of black jeans.” Pick up the latest issue to read more on Hilary’s relationship with her mom and playing Olivia Burke on Gossip Girl.

- Best time to shop: before noon. Stores will be in order and less busy during the morning hours. This will allow you to get the best customer service.
- Grab a size lower and a size higher before trying things on. This will save time and energy in the long run.
- Keep an open mind when grabbing sizes. Try not to focus on the size but on the fit. No label fits the same, you could be a 6 in one line and a 10 in another.
- Test the comfort of the item you are trying on. Sit,bend, twist and if it’s not comfortable don’t buy it.
- Don’t linger. If something doesn’t look good. Move on to the next. Dwelling on it will only derail your motivation and spirit.

This past year I have grown obsessed with J.Crew. I love this store! Everything is so beautiful and innovatively dressed. I love their displays and catalog.
All week I’ve been eyeing their merino rose corsage cardigan. So yesterday after work, I finally purchased it in this beautiful green color (color not shown) . I love it so much! It goes great with the rest of my recent J.Crew purchases.

Banana Republic cashmere infinity scarf $98
The infinity scarf, is the update to your favorite scarf. Wear them long or wrapped around once, twice, even three times for a much fuller cozier look. Best of all, it’s easy to achieve the no fuss, chicness of an ordinary scarf, in half the time.
Here’s my favorite infinity scarf by Paula Bianco in a warm rose color. Love the imperfect edges and fullness of the scarf. Pair with your favorite t-shirt and jeans. $92

Here’s Gossip Girl’s Jessica Szohr in a Forenza Infinity Scarf. So chic!
